Honor X5 Plus Review

The Honor X5 Plus is a budget phone with a smooth-looking 90Hz display and decent battery life, but its sluggish performance and average cameras hold it back. If you prioritize those first two aspects, it's an option, but consider the Redmi 12C for better performance or the Samsung A04 for a superior camera, both at similar prices.

Honor X5 Plus Overview

Honor X5 Plus was launched on 16 August, 2023. It comes with a 6.56-inch TFT LCD display which supports resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels at ~269 pixels-per-inch.

The Honor X5 Plus is powered by Octa-core Mediatek Helio G36  processor and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It offers 4GB RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage options. The phone runs MagicOS 7.1 on top of Android 13 operating system.

As regard camera quality, the Honor X5 Plus boasts a dual camera setup of 50 MP x 2 MP lenses on the rear side, while on the front side, it features a single 5 MP camera.

Honor X5 Plus has a 5200-mAh battery and supports fast charging as well as wireless charging. It comes with Dual (Nano-SIM) for connectivity. It measures 6.43 x 2.96 x 0.33 inch (height x width x thickness) and weighs 188 grams.
